We all feel helpless right now, especially as far away as we are from Minnesota. Friday, January 23, across the country, people stood with that state in support of the vast community outpouring of resources, time, and love.
We'd like to offer you ways to contribute financially, as we obviously can't be there in person to prepare and deliver food to immigrants too terrified to leave their homes to work, go to school, or buy diapers.

Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee has continued its food card fundraiser to help get groceries and necessities to families forced into hiding, parents kept away from work and kids from school. You can donate here.
A Latino church who has put over 30,000 families on a free all donated food delivery system so they don’t have to leave their homes. Donate here.
Urgent Basic Needs: Providing food, housing, transportation, health care and other essential emergent supports in response to attacks
Urgent Legal Services: legal defense, due process support, and rights protection
Mobilizing & Organizing: know-your-rights education, community safety planning, advocacy, and coalition-building
The Immigrant Law Center is offering legal support to countless people detained by ICE in Minnesota—you can donate here.
Leo's Tow, is just a really nice guy who helps return the abandoned vehicles of people who have been taken by ICE to their families, you can Venmo them at @leostowingmn.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, via Liza Tregillus, has a fund as well for quickly retaining legal counsel and raising money to support local families detained and jailed by ICE. Tax deductible.
