Pressure our SENATE DEMOCRATS to do two things...

This is an URGENT request from Indivisible!!

We have a serious opportunity in the next two weeks to restrict funding for ICE - including some of the money passed in the Big Beautiful Bill. According to Indivisible National, the upcoming DHS appropriations bill needs SIXTY votes to pass in the Senate; great news for us.

Schumer is not saying publicly what he wants as a concession in that funding discussion; neither is Jakeem.

Pressure our SENATE DEMOCRATS to do two things:

1. Promise to NOT vote for ICE /  DHS spending bill unless basic asks are met

2. Promise to PUBLICLY PUSH LEADERSHIP - Chuck Schumer - to commit to calling a press conference and saying specifically what Democratic caucus will and will not accept.

This needs to be done ASAP!

Our asks , at the bare minimum are:

• No deployment of BORDER PATROL Agents to cities

• No dragnets of cities searching for anyone of color - and protestors - to arrest.

• And a few additional things:

  • No more masks.

  • ICE ID required on every officer.

  • Body cameras required on every officer.
