No Secret Police in Durango!

Do you support unmasking ICE and requiring police from outside of our community to clearly identify themselves when operating in our City? Do you live within the Durango City Limits? Contact Ted Wright 970.749.3584 to sign the citizen's initiative petition for a Durango ordinance that prohibits masking of law enforcement officers and requires visible identification, keeps policing local and returns constitutionality and trust to policing and the People. Signing this petition sets the matter of our safety in first place before the City Council, requiring their approval or forcing a special election on the matter. Please thank Jason Crow and John Hickenlooper for donating an equivalent amount of money they received from Palantir - to immigrant rights organizations
Contact Gov Polis., Senators Bennet and Hickenlooper - Ask them to state publicly they will work to improve conditions for detainees at the GEO Facility in Aurora and they are opposed to opening any new detention facilities in Colorado.
Call or email Senators Hickenlooper and Bennet (thank them for their NO votes) and your US House rep to ask them to do whatever they can to rein in ICE – The DHS funding deadline has passed and Dems successfully held their caucus together to vote no! We must demand that they continue to hold the line and refuse to fund DHS without ironclad limits on ICE and Border Patrol.
Contact John Hickenlooper and ask him to send a similar letter to Secretary Noem as Senator Wicker from Mississippi. Senator Wicker wrote to oppose a new detention facility in Mississippi.
